Matt Will & Katie Jean at the Subdued Stringband Jamboree
Soon, it will be blackberry pickin’ time in Bellingham, and that means that jamboree time will arrive up at the Deming Log Show Fairgrounds nestled near the Nooksack River among the majestic mountains of the North Cascades. The Subdued Stringband Jamboree is one of the sweetest annual events in the Pacific Northwest, and Kate Lichtenstein and I will appear under the banner of Matt Will & Katie Jean.
On Friday, we will sing our own songs on the Slanted Stage at 12:10pm, followed by a songswap workshop with two great songwriters: Louis Ledford & Petunia.
On Saturday, Matt will lead a mandolin workshop and then Matt Will & Katie Jean will join Jackero, Bryan Thurber and John Daughtrey as the band for the Lucas Hicks Memorial Square Dance with Bex BeeĀ calling.
